Genesiverse is meant to be a fun, safe, and friendly place. By joining our Minecraft network, Discord, website, or related services, you agree to follow these Server Rules together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other policies linked from this site.
1) Expectations of behavior
Compete and hang out in good faith. Be respectful to players and staff. Treat others the way you would want to be treated in Club, LaserTag arenas, parties, chat, and Discord.
2) Reporting rule breakers
If someone breaks the rules, report them so staff can review. Prefer in-game report tools when available, or contact staff through official Discord / support channels with evidence (screenshots, timestamps, usernames). Do not take “justice” into your own hands.
3) Reporting bugs and exploits
Tell us about bugs privately through official channels. Include steps to reproduce. Do not abuse bugs for advantage, currency, items, or griefing. Publicly sharing exploit details before we can patch may be treated as rule-breaking.
4) Player safety and account security
- You are responsible for your Discord-linked Genesiverse account and Minecraft session.
- Never share passwords, Discord tokens, link codes, recovery codes, or payment details.
- Staff will never ask for your password or Discord token.
- See also Player Wellness if you or someone else needs help outside the game.
5) Behavior that is not allowed
Examples include, without limitation:
- Chat abuse — Harassment, hate speech, targeted insults, spam, flood, baiting, or repeatedly pushing inappropriate topics.
- Advertising — Promoting other Minecraft servers, unauthorized Discord invites, scam links, or unrelated commercial spam in public channels.
- Threats and privacy attacks — Doxxing, blackmail, sharing personal data, malicious links, or threats of real-world harm / DDoS.
- Unfair advantages — Disallowed clients/mods, macros that automate gameplay, scripts, boosters, bug abuse, or punishment evasion. See Allowed Modifications.
- Account abuse — Selling, trading, gifting, or sharing accounts; using alts to evade mutes, bans, or cooldowns.
- Game abuse — Intentional griefing outside intended game modes, cross-teaming where forbidden, sabotaging teammates, or encouraging others to break rules.
- Inappropriate content — Offensive skins, usernames, signs, item names, pets, furniture layouts, hotel/room content, profile text, or builds. See Space Content Rules.
- Unauthorized trading — Selling Virtual Goods, Gems, tickets, ranks, or accounts for real money or off-platform trades we do not authorize.
- Unauthorized giveaways / scams — Fake staff, phishing, or giveaways that ask for login details or payments.
6) Consequences
Breaking these rules can result in warnings, chat mutes, temporary or permanent bans from game instances, Discord restrictions, removal of Virtual Goods or progress, or other actions we find appropriate. Prior history and severity matter. Appeals may be offered through official channels when available; staff decisions after review are final unless we reopen a case.
